In Love with Quito

I've been back in Ecuador for almost four weeks now. I am absolutely in love with this place, these people, and the children I get to work with. Working with these children is such a unique experience. Before I came back to Ecuador, people would always ask me what made me decide to go. I never really had the right answer and it took me a while to figure out how to put it into words. The most simple way to put it is love. The love you experience here is so unique. The love I have for these children and the love they have for me is so special. Children are so honest, humble, and incredibly loving. It feels like these orphans I take care of every day have that times a hundred. They are so willing to love, and if you love them, they love you right back. I am so lucky to get to be doing what I'm doing, learning what I'm learning, and feeling so much love every day. This really is the good life.
